# Contact — Token Counter

One address reaches the people who build Token Counter. There is no ticket queue and no
phone line — it is a small project, and mail goes straight to the people who work on it.

## Email

privacy@tokencounter.online — the single address for everything below. The name reflects
where it started, but it is the general contact address for the project.

## What to write about

- **Bugs** — a count that looks wrong, a meter that does not appear, a page the
  extension breaks. Say which site (claude.ai or chatgpt.com), which plan, and what you
  expected to see. A screenshot of the composer helps more than anything else.
- **Wrong numbers** — if a figure disagrees with what the model reports, that is worth
  reporting even though every count is an estimate. Include the text if you can share
  it, or its length if you cannot.
- **Privacy questions** — anything in the [privacy
  policy](https://tokencounter.online/privacy) that is unclear, or a permission you want
  explained before installing.
- **Feature requests** — particularly a model or a site the extension does not cover
  yet.
- **Press and partnerships** — same address.

## What we cannot help with

Token Counter is not affiliated with Anthropic or OpenAI. Questions about your Claude or
ChatGPT subscription, billing, or account access have to go to those companies directly
— we have no access to your account. The extension works from the login session you
already have on each site: it never asks for, stores or transmits your password, and
never sends any credential to us or to any third party.

## Response times

This is a free tool maintained by a small team, so replies are best-effort rather than
guaranteed. Bug reports with enough detail to reproduce get answered fastest, because
they are the ones that can be acted on immediately.

## Chrome Web Store

Reviews and support requests left on the [Chrome Web Store
listing](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/token-counter/gfkhakenlocbckkcinggpagpgdpkgbnh)
are read too, but email is faster and allows a back-and-forth the store does not.

## Uninstalling

Removing the extension from Chrome deletes everything it stored — the cache never leaves
your device in the first place, so there is nothing to request deletion of and no
account to close. On removal, Chrome opens one page on this site,
[/uninstall](https://tokencounter.online/uninstall), which embeds an optional
one-question Google Form; your answer goes to Google Forms only if you submit it.
